Ageless In Your 30’s

Is it time for me to start getting Botox? Should I add retinol into my skincare regimen? Why do I have acne AND wrinkles? Should I start using hyaluronic acid fillers for these little lines that bother me? These are some of the thoughts of the average person in their 30s. After all, the first signs of aging in our 30s come out of nowhere and suddenly appear in the eyes, forehead, and mouth/lip area.  “When did all this start?” you begin to wonder.

Fortunately, at Ageless 360 Aesthetics, we have a plan for you to act now and hold off aging a little more gracefully.  From changes in your skin and hormones to the products you are using daily, we can help adapt your routine to something more appropriate for you.  With custom skincare plans and tons of treatment options, its hard to know what you should even look at!  Here are some of the common complaints and treatments recommended at Ageless 360 Aesthetics for your 30s!

Common Concerns in Your 30’s

FINE LINES AND WRINKLES

Fine lines and wrinkles typically begin in our 30s when our upper eyelids can become hooded causing difficulty putting makeup on, and our lower eyelids can begin to pouch and become more prominent, making us look tired. Some of the contributing factors are genetics, lack of sleep, and anatomy changes.  This can make the under eye appear to have dark circles, creating a sunken-in appearance. The beginnings of frown lines can slowly start to appear at rest in the forehead and between the eyes. Around the corners of our mouth and lips, fine lines, and wrinkling begins, causing our lips to look dehydrated and deflated.

COMPLEXION CHANGES

Choosing the right skin care regimen and actually following it is the best way to help prevent and treat skin conditions. Plus, it will allow for the enhanced results when combined with any procedure. Studies have shown that injectables and other cosmetic treatments have better and longer lasting results when proper home care is used. The essential skincare products include: a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer.  Equally important are the active ingredients such as growth factors, retinols, and peptides that treat aging, sunspots, acne scarring, rosacea, and other skin concerns.  At Ageless 360, we have done the research for you.  We carry Skinceuticals, one of the top-selling medical skincare lines for over 20 years, and Hydropeptide, a new cutting-edge skincare line that uses epigenetics and peptides to send desirable signals to the skin improving concerns and turning back the clock on aging!

BODY CHANGES

Pregnancies, metabolism fluctuations, and being on the go constantly contribute to a changing body in our thirties. Things are starting to distribute differently, and we don’t always love the changes!  For women who do not plan to have more children, the mid-to-late thirties can be the perfect time to undergo body contouring procedures.  These treatments are commonly used for weight loss, skin tightening, and muscle strengthening and toning.

Ageless Recommended Aesthetic Procedures in Your 30’s

MICRONEEDLING

Eclipse Evo Micropen is one of the top microneedling treatments on the market.  These treatments improve the overall texture and tone, minimize sunspots, and stimulate collagen production for healthy, bright, smooth skin year-round. Recommended package of 3 or more treatments for best results.

PDO THREADS

PDO threads are categorized two ways.  Smooth PDO threads can be used to define areas like the jawline and chin, smooth texture concerns and fill small areas of lost volume.  These small threads are a suture material dipped in a bio stimulant.  The result is smoother skin with an undeniable glow.  Lifting threads are a similar material but longer and stronger.  These threads have small barbs used to lift the skin.  This can lift the face, neck, and many other areas.  Also using bio stimulants, these threads encourage the tissue to stay lifted by instructing the collagen strands where to form!  Great for loose skin without large changes in volume!

VENUS GLOW HYDROFACIAL

The Venus glow facial machine is similar to the commonly known HydraFacial machine, except better!  The rotating tip infuses serums while the vacuum exfoliates and sweeps away old dirt, blackheads, and bacteria.  Customized serums and treatments can be done to ensure your skin is always glowing!

CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels increase skin tightening, brighten skin tone, and improve overall skin tone and texture. From light exfoliation to deep peels for texture and tone concerns, we have a peel for you. A series of peels is recommended for optimal results.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser hair removal targets and eliminates hair follicles over a series of treatments. Minimum of 6-10 treatments depending on the area and patient characteristics. Life-changing if dark hair follicles on your face or underarms are causing you distress!

NUEROTOXIN INJECTIONS & DERMAL FILLERS

Treatments such as Botox, Jeuveau and Xeomin treat fine lines and wrinkles most commonly in forehead lines, glabellar lines (aka, “11’s”), and crow’s feet. Other treatment areas include upper lip “flip” for a subtle lip lift, corners of mouth for downturned smile, “gummy smile”, chin, and masseter muscles for TMJ pain.

Dermal fillers such as Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse+, Revanesse Versa Lips, and Revanesse Versa+ can minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles that begin to appear in the nasolabial folds, marionette grooves, lips, infraorbital/cheek, chin and jawline, and the temporal region. These products are long lasting and can be used in most areas of the face.

KYBELLA/DEOXYCHOLIC ACID/PCDC TREATMENT

Kybella is an in-office treatment used for the reduction in fullness under the chin commonly referred to as a “double chin”. Kybella is a great non-invasive option for improvement of the double chin area and improving the jaw/chin area.  Deoxycholic Acid is the active ingredient in Kybella.  By utilizing a compounding pharmacy, we can get a stronger formula with a better price allowing for more product at the same cost as Kybella.  PCDC includes another ingredient allowing for a larger area of spread and can be used in larger areas such as jowls, bra fat, knee fat, and other areas with troublesome pockets of fat.

They say your forties are the new thirties, but when it comes to your skin, that may not feel so true. From crow’s feet to smile lines and saggy jowls, signs of aging begin to get more noticeable and prominent, especially in photos. Where should you begin?  We’ve got you covered.  Ageless 360 Aesthetics offers plenty of aesthetic treatments for men and women in their forties that can restore your skin’s firmness and glow.

Common Concerns in Your 40’s

WRINKLES, SKIN LAXITY & LOSS OF FIRMNESS

Your forties are when signs of aging become more apparent, the minor concerns in your thirties may worsen over time without proper treatments and maintenance. As you reach your forties, your body’s ability to renew the skin cells and the cell turnover cycle both slow down. When this happens, you can experience increases in discoloration, pigmentation, or unevenness to your skin tone. The firmness is becoming noticeably different contributing to your concerns.

An important component of your skin, Collagen plumps and provides the necessary structure that keeps your skin firm and youthful.  As you age and your skin turnover slows down, your body loses collagen and elastin, causing the skin to sag and loss of volume. This is where the beginning of a jowl starts to form and can be unnerving. Also, if you have lost or plan to lose weight, it will be difficult for the skin to snap back into place again leaving behind saggy and loose skin.

These changes to your skin may seem terrifying and difficult to treat, but there is great news if you are still in your forties – these signs of aging are not permanent and can be reversed with interventions.  They have not had enough time to have a lasting effect on your skin but act now!  The window of opportunity is not forever!

SUN EXPOSURE

Years of sun exposure can also lead to a need for sun damage reversal and changes to the skin care regimen. The sun is proven to be responsible for 80% of facial aging!  Sun protection can help prevent wrinkles, pigmentation, and sunspots. Now more than ever, identifying your favorite sunscreen and adapting it to your routine is crucial!
